Ukraine’s sports minister demanded an explanation from his Polish counterpart on Friday over comments by the country’s new FA president suggesting Poland could stage Euro 2012 alone or with the help of Germany.

Oct. 30 (Bloomberg) — Zaklady Azotowe Pulawy SA , Poland’s largest fertilizer maker, said profit quadrupled to 157.1 million zloty ($59 million) in its fiscal first quarter as sales of urea and ammonium nitrate rose. The shares advanced the most since May 2007.
